Chaboba

Overview
Chaboba are a startup company that approached us in September 2010 for a name and brand identity. They presented the UK with a new drink concept, which we found incredibly exciting: bubble tea. At the time, you could only find bubble tea in Chinatown, so the concept was completely fresh to most.
We spent time brainstorming and developing both the name and a visual language for Chaboba. 'Cha' means tea in Cantonese, while 'boba' is one of the names for the tapioca pearls usually found in bubble tea.
Chaboba opened their first bar in February 2011.

Execution
Naming; brand identity; icon design; visual language; POS; CRM; shop design; CMS website; HTML template design; voucher creation; and menu design.

Results
Chaboba has built a loyal fan base in Camden and continues to launch new products that keep the excitement bubbling!
